The match started an hour after the scheduled kick-off time following a mixup with the home pitch and was moved to Pymmes Park. This emergency change of venue did little to faze the two teams who started the game well. The opening 15-minutes was an end-to-end affair but Yalova took control thereafter. The Yellow Ones began to force the issue and their dominance was rewarded firstly by a towering Kevin Krans header from Duru Safak's cross (32) followed by Huseyin Akyol latching on to Corey Whitely's through ball to round off the goalkeeper for 0-2 (37). Dogan started the second half more positively and pulled a goal back within 5 minutes of the re-start. However, any hope of them coming back into was quashed by in-form Huseyin who netted 3 more in the space of 10 minutes to end the match as a contest. The home team scored a late penalty (83) but it was nothing more than scant consolation as the day belonged to Yalova and Huseyin Akyol. Next up, Yeni Bogazici at home...

Yalova Reserves booked their place in a second semi-final after easing past Earlsberg Eagles. The Yellow Ones were uncharacteristically static in the first half but still did enough to go into the break a goal up. A stern half-time talk had the desired effect as the away team managed 4 more goals, albeit conceding a couple late on. Yalova U9s booked their place in Cheshunt Youth Football League U9 Cup Final with an outstanding semi-final display against Lea Valley. The Yellow Ones came away from Albany Park with an emphatic 0-4 win thanks to Alfie Ferret's hat-trick and a well taken goal by Ali Karakus. Yalova U9s will face Angel Islington at Cheshunt Stadium next month after they beat Leyton United 4-2 in their semi-final. FIXTURE AND QUARTER FINAL DATES
Yalova's rescheduled fixture and cup quarter-final dates have been confirmed by the Turkish Community Football Federation. The whole of TCFF league match week 12, postponed due to snow, will be played on Sunday 25 March 2012 meaning Yalova will host Iskele on this date. Matches affected by our participation in LFA Intermediate Cup, notably Antalyaspor (postponed due to Koture semi-final) has been moved to midweek whilst our Gaziantepspor match which clashes with the final will be played on 15 April. Meanwhile, our Federation Cup quarter-final date with MTG has been set for 24 April. The full roundup of new fixture dates, therefore, is as follows:
